Tuesday, January 7- Presenter: Attorney Mark Morrison will discuss the “Origins of the Orphan Trains ..Understanding the adoption process in America”, (including events from the Depression era.)
Thursday, January 9- Presenter: Alan Arvello Abeline, Texas “HIS word Preserved.” A complete representation of the preservation of God’s word from the Dead Sea Scholls to the King James Bible and Beyond.
Tuesday, January 14- Presenter: LuAnn Waters, Wynnewood, Oklahoma “Carved in Stone”.
We will examine the many unusual symbols on gravestones and determine their meanings. From the serious to the hilarious, LuAnn has experience reading these gravestones in the United States and abroad.
Thursday, January 16- Presenter: Danny Craig “Tales of Kemp, Oklahoma and memories of Days Gone By.”
Tuesday, January 21- Presenter: Ken Busby, President of the Oklahoma Museum Association. “Get Your Kicks on Route 66”. Ken will explore the history of the famous highway and discuss the activities planned through 2025 which will commemorate its’ 100th Anniversary.
Thursday, January 23 – Presenter- Mary Kathryn Hodge “Black History in Bryan County/Southeastern Oklahoma.” An inside look at Black people's livelihood and culture during early statehood and beyond.
